  6. Try it out in Reading • View Joey’s reading of The Soccer Game (level F). • While viewing, observe the analysis of the reading record. Joey’s Analysis • Use the Guide for Observing Reading Behaviors to identify what Joey controls and what is partially controlled. Joeys Guide for Observing Reading Behaviours

  7. Look at the goals for level F in the Guided Reading section of the Continuum of Literacy Learning. Scan the Behaviors to Notice and Support under Thinking Within the Text to select next teaching moves. Continuum Level F • Now go into the Prompting Guide to select language to teach, prompt and reinforce the desired behavior.
