GMAT Exam Structure

The GMAT exam is an assessment tool which is necessary for the assessing quantitative, writing, analytical, reading and verbal skills of the candidates. This examination is a Computer Adaptive Test under the management of the Graduate Management Admission Council. There are four modules in this examination. They are; a quantitative section, a verbal section, an analytical writing assessment section, and an integrated reasoning section.

  2. The GMAT exam is an assessment tool which is necessary for the assessing quantitative, writing, analytical, reading and verbal skills of the candidates. This examination is a Computer Adaptive Test under the management of the Graduate Management Admission Council. • There are four modules in this examination.   3. What Do You Mean By Computer Adaptive Test? • Computer Adaptive Test means that this test uses software which would adapt itself according to the performance of the candidate. This software would be able to determine the difficulty level of the next question on the basis of performance of the candidate. According to leading institutions which are providing GMAT exam preparation, the final GMAT score would depend on the difficulty level of the question. • Computer Adaptive Test is only applicable in Quantitative and Verbal sections.   4. Different Section of the Examination • As mentioned earlier, there are four sections of this examination. The total time duration for this examination would be about 3 hours and 7 minutes. Candidates appearing in the GMAT Singaporeneed to make a time plan according to the format of the exam. In the recent announcement from the GMAC, candidates need to select the order of question modules while registering for the examination. They are as follows: • Analytical Writing Assessment Section, Integrated Reasoning Section, Quantitative Section, Verbal Section • Verbal Section, Quantitative Section, Integrated Reasoning Section, Analytical Writing Assessment Section • Quantitative Section, Verbal Section, Integrated Reasoning Section, Analytical Writing Assessment SectionThe given above are the only three options for the sequencing of the modules of the question that would be available in the online gmat tutor in singapore.   5. Quantitative Section • This module is for checking the ability of the candidate to solve the word problems, interpreting data from graphs and charts and use them for answering the questions. The total duration of this module would be about 62 minutes. Within this time duration, the candidate would have to attempt 31 questions.   6. Integrated Reasoning ModuleThis module would test the candidate if he or she is able to evaluate the data in the charts or bars. The duration of the module is about 30 minutes. The student taking GMAT preparation onlinewould face 12 questions in four different patterns. The score of this module would not have an effect on the final score of examination. • Verbal SectionThis section would test the ability of the candidate to analyze and drawing an effective conclusion from a set of data. The duration of this gmat test module would be about 65 minutes. Candidates would have to attempt 36 questions within this time period.   7. Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) Section • In this section, candidates would have to write an essay within 30 minutes. The candidate would be given an argument and would have to write an essay about the argument. For better preparation candidates can enroll themselves in GMAT live classescourses.
