  2. South Kolkata Nrityangan, a classical dance institute in Kolkata teaches Bharatnatyam, an Indian classical dance form. The main focus of this Classical & Contemporary Dance group in India is to enhance interest in and promote Bharatnatyam.

  3. Bharatnatyam is one of the most popular Classical Indian Dance. Bharatnatyam is more popular in South Indian states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.At present Bharatnatyam taught by Bharatnatyam Dancer in India is an immensely popular classical dance form of India. It is practiced at the Bharatnatyam Dance Schools in Kolkata is considered the mother of most of the other classical dances of India and inspires many art forms like sculpture, painting and icon making. Now Bharatnatyam Dancer in Kolkata is making this form of dance available to common people.
