  2. Keyboarding Standards of the 1st Six Weeks of Lesson Plans Students will demonstrate correct touch keyboarding techniques. Students will develop touch keystroking speed and accuracy.

  3. Objectives of Keyboarding Lessons: Students will demonstrate eyes on copy, correct fingering, good techniques, and appropriate posture while operating the keyboard: 2. Students develop and improve keystroking speed and accuracy. 3. Students will type at least 25 wpm, with 2 or fewer errors on a one minute timed writing, by the end of the six weeks.

  4. The Importance of Pretesting • Many in the teaching profession teach a lesson with the end in mind. In other words, not teaching the test, but teaching what they want to test before creating their actual lesson content. If used correctly it can be a very effective tool for teachers. • Pretests are administered before a lesson : • to determine if what is being covered has already been mastered by some or all of the class. • to determine if learning, when compared to post-tests, has occurred. • to give students a preview of what will be required of them, this helps students stay focused on learning what they need to know.
