  6. : MISSION STATEMENT User Voice is unique because its work is led and delivered by ex-offenders. We exist to reduce reoffending by working the most marginalised in and around the criminal justice system to ensure that practitioners and policy makers hear their voices.

  8. : IMPACT • Isle of Wight Prison Council: • 1600 prisoners in 3 prison sites • 37% reduction in prisoner complaints • Reduction in use of segregation from 160 to 47 days • Safeguarding consultation: • Office of the Children’s Commissioner • 100 children and young people in prison and community • Research team of ex-offenders • Minimal cost • Impact 8 policy change commitments by Youth Justice Board
