  2. It is an exhausting job • Long hours • Constant multitasking • Every kind of customer must be served, even the constant complainers

  3. Tip-dependent • Tips are what they’re working for! • More than likely, they are making squat on their hourly wage • Bills need to be paid—tips are vital to be able to do that!

  4. It’s the decent thing to do! • If someone has taken the time to serve you and has made sure your needs were met, shouldn’t you appreciate that? • …And no, do not justify it by the statement, “It’s their job to serve me.” That may be true, but your server is still a person; he or she is not beneath you (even if that is how you treat them).

  5. So, be a considerate customer and... • APPRECIATE YOUR SERVICE ….via tip!
