Biographical Information • Born on April 23, 1957 in London, England • Studied at the Hornsey College of Art and London College of Printing • Worked for The Face magazine (1981-1986) • Worked for Arena (1987-1990) • Created Research Studios in 1994 • Founding member of Fontworks • Head of the Communication Art & Design department at the Royal College of Art • Influenced by punk rock, Dadaism, popart

Time Period, Location, Purpose and Philosophy • Brody has been working since the early 1980s • He works in England • He works to inspire the design community, to address the changing role of the designer and pushes the boundaries of visual communication in all media through experimental and challenging work • He feels that artists should be able to make a living pursuing ideas and having them published and made available to the public
