  2. FIVE THINGS EVERY RETREATER MUST KNOW!!!

  3. 1) Venue: Bethel Mission Campsite • At one with mother Nature!

  4. 2) WHAT TO TAKE TO RETREAT!!! • A FULL STOMACH (ensure you eat before boarding the bus) • Bible, Quarterly, Hymnal • Pen and Paper to take notes and to fill out evaluation sheet • Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, toilet paper, rag, hairbrush, towel etc) • Bedding • Utensils (Plate, fork, spoon, cup) • 2 changes of clothing: for Sabbath morning and Sunday & WARM Sleepwear • SWEATER (IT WILL BE EXTREMELY COLD SO DRESS WARMLY) • Semi -Formal wear for Banquet (dress, shoes, handbag, etc). • Comfortable shoes (sneakers AND/OR flat slippers) • Snacks • Bottle of water • Medication (for those who are asthmatic etc.). There will be a health team on spot. • Extra money but DON’T FORGET YOUR $2500!!!

  5. 3) TRANSPORTATION • THE BUSES WILL LEAVE AT 6PM. Scheduled to arrive @ 8:30pm • 3 buses in total: 1 @ UTECH, other two at NURSES RESIDENCE • There will also be an early bus at 4:00pm • If you have a class or you are running late CONTACT DESHANNA @875-2705or Derval 385-7498 • Please be respectful of time!

  6. 4) PAYMENT PLAN • TOTAL COST (Accommodation, Transportation & Food) is $2500. • Cost without transportation - $2000 • All payments must be made by THURSDAY FEB 12 • Irvine and Dayfel – Deshanna Simpson • Seacole – Vanessa Omeally • Rex – Shakarah • Taylor – Julian • Chancellor – Oshaine • Preston – Carltonette • UTECH - Althea • Genfel – Camisha or her asst Renae • You will be required to sign a CONTRACT if you plan to pay during/after the retreat (not on Sabbath).

  7. 5) RETREAT PACKAGE • Registration will be done on the BUS. Upon registering you will receive a RETREAT PACKAGE which includes: • Itinery • 6 meal tickets (must have when collecting food) • Evaluation sheet (remember to bring pen) • CONTRACT (if payment is not made b4 boarding bus) • Special edition of SCOPE • Name tag • Visitor’s package (will be required to pay $250 if they plan to eat) • Letters will be sent out to inform beforehand. Please inform persons as well. • Payment would be made AFTER the Sabbath of course.
