  1. Evaluating the transferability of RCMs Zav Kothavala & Colin Jones

  2. ICTS: Introduction Regional atmospheric climate Models (RCM) from different Continental Scale Experiments (CSE) will be transferred from their “home” CSE to other CSEs involved in The Global Energy & Water Cycle Experiment (GEWEX). To determine that RCMs can realistically simulate the climate variability in all regions of the globe, we want to develop parameterizations that are evaluated against observations in all possible climates.

  3. Participating RCMs RCA3 Rossby Centre (Sweden) RSM Scripps Institution of Oceanography (USA) GEM-LAM RPN/MSC, Dorval (Canada) MRCC Ouranos, Montréal (Québec) CLM GKSS Research Centre (Germany)

  4. Frequency distribution (Rondonia: Tropical rain forest)
