Jesse Losey - United States Navy

Shortly after graduating from high school, Jesse Losey joined the Navy. Upon joining, Jesse was sent to Illinois in order to complete the seven weeks of boot camp required. Jesse worked hard and graduated from boot camp, moving on to attend submarine school. After successfully completing submarine school, Jesse was assigned to serve on a nuclear submarine. For nine years, Jesse served in the Navy before taking medical retirement in 2004.

  1. Jesse Losey United States Navy Shortly after graduating from high school, Jesse Losey joined the Navy. Upon joining, Jesse was sent to Illinois in order to complete the seven weeks of boot camp required. Jesse worked hard and graduated from boot camp, moving on to attend submarine school. After successfully completing submarine school, Jesse was assigned to serve on a nuclear submarine. For nine years, Jesse served in the Navy before taking medical retirement in 2004.

  2. Jesse Losey Navy Dolphins A year after joining the Navy in 1995, Jesse Losey joined the Navy’s elite Marine Mammal Program, helping to study, develop and train dolphins and sea lions. Since the 1960’s, the United States Navy has been training and utilizing dolphins and sea lions to find and mark the location of underwater objects. The program currently has five marine mammal systems that can be deployed within 72 hours of notice.

  3. Jesse Losey Navy Sharpshooter While serving in the Navy, Jesse Losey was awarded the marksmanship ribbon. In 1999, having passed a qualification course with an above-average score, Jesse was presented with the Marksmanship Device for his qualifications as a sharpshooter. The Navy has been awarding marksmanship ribbons since 1920, as a way to recognize service members who have passed the weapons qualification course while achieving an above-average score.

  4. Jesse Losey Business Owner Jesse Losey has always been business minded. After successfully serving in the Navy for nine years and taking medical retirement, Jesse opened his own car dealership. Over the four years he was in business, Jesse’s car dealership received the car dealership of the year award twice. In 2006 and 2007, Jesse was recognized for exhibiting exceptional performance and his commitment for improving the community.
