What are people saying? • Connections to airports • Work with CSX to use existing rail lines for passenger traffic • Expand local bus service • Improve safety and service for bicyclists, pedestrians, the disabled and senior citizens • Regional transportation needs to come sooner rather than later • Consider the examples of other cities for successful transit modes, financing, alignment • Not convinced of rail as a solution How do we get there?

  9. Next Steps • Continue to partner with transportation agencies/authorities to improve service & maximize efficiencies • Engage the private sector in the delivery of transportation services • Expand “nontraditional” methods of implementing transportation solutions What’s Next?
