Waves. By: Nicholas Roop. Longitudinal Wave. Is a wave that moves medium in a direction. Is like a slinky. Transverse. Waves that move and medium. It means across. These are the parts of a wave. The wavelengh is the measurement of the wave. The trough is the bottom of the wave.

  3. Transverse • Waves that move and medium. • It means across. • These are the parts of a wave. • The wavelengh is the measurement of the wave. • The trough is the bottom of the wave.

  4. Mechanical wave • Waves that require a medium through witch to travel. • If you drop a rock in the water it will expand like this picture.

  5. Sound Waves • You cant see sound waves but you can hear them. • On this picture there is compression, and amplitude.
