Our Journey to Makerere University • Established direct presence by way of a branch in January 2007. • We have had a good working relationship with the University since then. • We have continued to register business growth since then. • Following with keen interest developments around the administrative line up at the University.

Quest for Process & Service improvements from the University Process Improvements • Payment/Expenditure management solutions. • More convenient method of handling tuition & fees payments. • Reduction/centralisation in the number of accounts held. • E-Tax • Electronic Banking/Enhanced reporting functionalities for the bursars office.

Future for the Bank: Investment in Technology • We have commenced the process of migrating to a much more robust IT platform that opens a whole new dimension to the way we will manage and drive dfcu business going forward. • This platform will enable us introduce & launch several new electronic channels previously not possible , which gives us the opportunity to serve MUK better and will offer a whole range of convenience options on a 24 hour basis. These include….Internet banking, Mobile phone banking, VISA cards, SMS banking, Points of Sale etc. • The reporting capabilities of the new IT platform will enable us give MUK a complete view of its business with us and thus gives us opportunity to manage customer relationships better. Immediate benefits to the MUK community will include, • Alternative access/delivery channels • Convenience & savings on time & expenses related to ordinary banking. • E-Solutions: School fees & bill payments

  10. More collaboration with the University Lets walk this journey together over next 4 months & thereafter ride on this for future growth.
