  1. Audio Conversion Software: Providing Variety to Your Music Library

  2. As much as I love iTunes, it can be such a pain. When I got my iPod a couple years back, I just used iTunes for all music-related tasks I conducted on my computer.

  3. It was a great program for maintaining my library and syncing songs to my device, but otherwise I found it to be rather bothersome.

  4. My frustrations with iTunes came to a forefront when converting audio files. iTunes required me to go through several dropdown menus that were difficult to navigate. Once I eventually found the dialogue box I needed, I was able to convert my files.

  5. The process proved to be a hassle again and again, especially when I wanted to change the file type that I was converting to. I finally had enough and went to search the web for an audio converter that was easy to use while allowing me to convert to the file types I wanted.

  6. A quick Google search led me to convert-it.org where I found a powerful audio converter that was appropriately named Audio Converter. I couldn’t have been more excited o happy with it.

  7. Not only was I able to find a powerful program that was supported by the most recent audio libraries along with the .net framework, but Audio Converter is incredibly stable. When converting my iTunes library for transfer on to my new smartphone, I found that several of my files were either corrupt or invalid.

  8. While these errors caused other audio converters that I tried to crash, Audio Converter simply continued converting the other files in my library and notified me of the errors after the other conversions were completed.

  9. Audio Converter was also filled with other useful features that I didn’t even know existed. One of my favorites was the program’s ability to search for tag information related to my audio files.

  10. Where I had previously incomplete information on some of my songs like artist or album title, Audio Converter was able to find this information for me and apply it to the newly converted files. I was presently surprised when I first noticed this feature, but now I couldn’t live without it!

  11. While I’ve never used these particular file types before, I did notice that Audio Converter supporter conversion to formats like MOD, SID and MIDI.

  12. A little research on my part revealed that these are specialty file formats that usually require their own dedicated conversion software. The folks at convert-it.org included this along with their program at no additional cost.

  13. At first I was a bit skeptical, so I scanned the program with my anti-virus program that revealed that it was completely spyware and adware free! Knowing this, I finally turned to Audio Converter as my primary audio conversion software.

  14. After using it a little more, I even discovered that this program could extract the audio from videos that I had stored on my hard drive. So cool! I’ve been super impressed with Audio Convert thus far and couldn’t be happier with my decision to download!
