  2. Dungeon • The main attraction of the castle is it’s sinister dungeon. A flash to the past, it teaches you of the horrors that the castle has gone through. So scary that some people have been known to faint.

  3. Eagle show • A certain activity at the castle is it’s bird show… or should I say it’s eagle show. Two of the eagles are North American Bald eagles, another is the South American eagle and the fourth one is it’s Scottish eagle. You can also watch them fly around and perform.

  4. Stalls • A great addition to the castle is it’s shops. There are a variety including a main gift shop, a burger shop and a side shop for buying souvenirs. As well as an ice cream stall and an archery post.

  5. History • There were many historic events which took place at Warwick castle, King Edward IV was imprisoned there for two years and legends say that Fulke Greville, who was killed by his manservant after he realized that he wasn’t in his masters will. Fulke apparently haunts the castle as a ghost now haunting innocent passersby.

Family lines • 1088-1449 Under control by the Beauchamp family. • 1449-1478 Under control of Richard Neville and his son in law. • 1478-1547 Under control of the crown. • 1547-1590 Under control of John Dudley. • 1604-1643 Under control of the Grevilles. • 1658-1701 Under control of the Rich family. • 1759-1978 Given back to the Grevilles. • 1978-Present Owned by the Tussard company

  7. Trebuchet • A great weapon of power resides by the outer walls of the castle and if you get to the castle at the right time then you can get to see the siege weapon fire. In the days of castles, this was the top edge of technology and could tear a castle apart.

  8. A few more activities for Children • There is a playground near the exit that children can play in if there bored. • There is a role-play dress up that children can participate in. • And there is a wide variety of other activities like archery, exploring and sailing. • You can also try out some of the weapons they used, like swords and tools.
