3. Ancient Egyptian Farming Farmers in the Ancient Egyptian times the farmers used a shaduf they used water. The shaduf is shaped like a see-saw. They also used a sickle which has a wooden handle and a flint blade. In most farms there were papyrus plants the most common use for papyrus plants are papyrus scrolls for scribes to write on.

4. Pharaohs The Pharaoh was the king of the land. He ruled many things. Often the ruling Pharaoh would adopt his heir as co-regent to enable a smooth take- over when he died. Princes sometimes had to wait along time. One Pharaoh holds the records for the longest reign we know for any monarch.

5. Pyramids Pyramids are made from stones they look like triangles except they are 3D. The Pharaohs are buried within the walls of the pyramids, and they are still there today. If you would like to see them you have to go to Egypt, to find the Pharaohs.

6. Hieroglyphics Hieroglyphics is the ancient language to us they look like pictures. They have over 700 letters in the alphabet.
