  2. Welcome to United States Government - Miss M -

Course Purpose • This is a general studies United States government course designed to familiarize you with the basic principles of various forms of government and the governmental system under which we operate; the course provides an opportunity for secondary students to pursue and receive credits for their high school United States government graduation requirement.

  4. Course Description • This is a survey course, and will be taught in a format designed to provide students with the analytical skills and factual knowledge necessary to deal critically with issues and events in American government.

Electronics Use of electronic devices is prohibited in the school from 7:55 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Other items, such as skateboards and scooters, are not allowed on the veranda or sidewalks leading to the school. Any items, including items listed above, that are deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the school day will be reported to the division office for possible disciplinary action. Because of the possibility of theft or loss, students are strongly discouraged from bringing electronic devices to school. The school is not responsible for loss of any prohibited items.
