Gather this • Information on a separate sheet of paper. • Today you will be making a “Math about me Poster” that illustrates • That information about yourself. • You will draw a picture and/or write a math problem that represents that information. Here are a few questions to think • When thinking about math in your life: • Fractions or whole numbers in your birthday • Address numbers • Phone numbers • Sports numbers • Favorite/lucky numbers • Number of pets • Number of people in your family\ • Number of cars your family drives • Can you think of any other ways in which math is part of your life?

  28. Make a Math About Me Poster! • Glue a picture of yourself into the middle. • Write your name in one of the 8 rectangles. • 3)Then, set out the important numbers in your life! Write math problems • 4) Lastly, you will illustrate (draw) and decorate the poster to make it look awesome!!! Use construction paper, magazines, pictures, etc. • Have fun!!!
