  13. Teacher Compass PD Thousands of research-driven videos and documents for differentiated PD, including:

  14. Teacher Compass PD Professional development goals provide the foundation for the user experience. Districts, schools and teachers can identify goals and associate those goals to content areas, pedagogical topics, grade levels and Pearson programs. All content within the library is also associated with this metatdata.

  15. Teacher Compass PD Goals can be created at the district, school and teacher levels. PD content is automatically suggested for each goal. Teachers can add self-reflections to these goals. All activity against all pd goals is tracked.

  16. Teacher Compass PD The home page is a teacher-to-teacher social networking wall, where any activity related to district, school or teacher goals, by any teacher in the district, is presented. This provides a “friendly reminder” of content related to goals and prompts teachers to explore and participate in PD. It also provides evidence of peer collaboration; professional development; and contributions to the school community.

  17. Teacher Compass PD Teacher Compass PD tracks many types of interactions – Views, Comments, Favorites, and whether an idea has been implemented in the classroom.

  18. Teacher Compass PD The library is fully searchable. Relevance is determined by teacher interactions – views, implementations, comments, favorites and assignments – related to content items. Teachers can quickly and easily filter searches by grade level, content area, strategy, program, etc.

  19. Teacher Compass PD Teachers and school leaders can also browse the library of content, which can contain locally developed collections of PD. Districts and schools can build their own content collections.

  20. Teacher Compass PD PD reports are driven by teacher interactions. This report presents interactions across the district. Interactions are then aggregated by school.

  21. Teacher Compass PD Clicking a specific school provides a detailed view of interactions for that school Interactions for each teacher in a school are itemized.

  22. Teacher Compass PD Clicking a specific teacher provides a detailed view of interactions for that teacher.
