The Catalyst of Economic Freedom • In 2006, free economies had per capita GNI of $29,219, more than twice that of countries that were mostly free, and more than four times that of countries that had mostly non-free economies. • Similar patterns exist regarding income levels, growth rates, price stability, and employment. • In addition, reports find positive correlations between economic freedom and higher average income per person, higher income for the poor, higher life expectancy, higher literacy, lower infant mortality, and less corruption • .
