Your powerful tool to search online databases simultaneously. dbWiz . What does dbWiz do?. It performs the search to the journal articles in a predefined subject or any databases selected in ‘Advanced Search’. A predefined subject would be defined by the type of the subscribed database.

  2. What does dbWiz do? It performs the search to the journal articles in a predefined subject or any databases selected in ‘Advanced Search’. A predefined subject would be defined by the type of the subscribed database. Two search methods Basic Search - Keyword Advanced Search - Keyword, Title, Author and Subject

  4. Basic Search Simply type a keyword to search Predefined Subjects

  5. Advanced Search Select criteria -Keyword -Title -Author -Subject Select a subject or multiply databases

  6. Search Result 1. Results from searching under this subject search 2. Click a database name to select the results from it Sorting the searched results For each journal article, title and author will be shown.

  7. Special note with searching Searching in dbwiz Don’t use “and” and “or” in keyword searching. It will automatically inserts the word "and" between your keywords, thus searching for citations or articles that contain all of your keywords. When searching phases, put quotation marks around your keyword. E.g. “Media Communication”.
