Tools - Download Offline Image Viewer (OIV ) Download OIV and install in computers. • The Offline Image Viewer (OIV) is • an offline software developed by • ARTstor to meet the demands of • presenting high-quality digital • images for teaching and learning. • With OIV, you can: • Deliver offline image presentation • Zoom and pan while presenting • images • Combine local and ARTstor images • Import existing PowerPoint • presentations • Create customized slide layouts • using images and text • Upload images and slides to a • Personal Collection in ARTstor • Save presentations and software to • ARTstor for media storage and • portability For detailed OIV usage instruction, please visit: http://help.artstor.org/wiki/index.php/OIV

  4. Import Images from the ARTstor Enter account name and password 

  5. Import Images from the ARTstor Select an image group to download the images into OIV 

  6. Import Images from the ARTstor  Finish downloading

  7. Making Presentation Slides  Select an image and click “Create slides from selected image(s)” button to choose a slide layout. * use the Shift or Ctrl- (or ) key to select multiple images.

  8. Making Presentation Slides the gray boxes represent image placeholders, while the black lines represent text boxes. Zoom-able templates will display a magnifying glass. 

  10. Slideshow Click on the "View Slide Presentation" icon for starting a sliceshow.

  11. Slideshow • Click “I” once will show the brief information of the image. • Click “I” twice will show the detailed information of the image.
