Module Aims

  • To introduce a foundation knowledge of data comm. terminology and concepts;

  • To provide an introduction to basic communications technology;

  • To outline the 7-layer OSI models for network systems;

  • To introduce the basic concept of internetworking;

  • To enable students to have a basic knowledge of Internet Technology.
