  1. Introduction • Washington D.C. is a very appealing place to numerous of people. It has many sites to see and statues too. They have a batch of festivals and parades so in my PowerPoint I will tell you about it.*

  2. Are There Any Special Events that Happen in Washington D.C. Question 1: Yes, there are actually more than a few events that happen in Washington like the Emancipation Proclamation. Also the Organic Act Of 1860, or The District Of Columbia Home Rule Act.

  3. Question2: What Is the Population In Washington D.C. Question 2: How do the nationalities of Washington DC compare? • The population of Washington D.C 6,131,445. Washington is made up of lots of different groups. For example Jewish 1%, Muslin 1%, Later day saint is 4%, Protestant is 49%, Mainline 23%, and other religions are 3%. So you can see there are a lot of religions in Washington D.C.

  4. Question 3:what is Washington D.C.’s State Bird? • Washington D.C.’s state bird is the Goldfinch • A golden flinches main habitat is in the weeds field and the flood field • Can be found any time of the year but abruptly during winter

  5. Question 4: Is There A Lot Of Crime In Washington D.C.? • Crime was a big subject in Washington D.C. in homicide the average is 30.2.In robbery the average is 724.3. In burglary the crime rate is 667.4.As you can see crime is big In Washington D.C.

  6. A lot of heroic people went to Washington D.C. like Abraham Lincoln (that is where they got the name from). Douglas Anderson, Bill Gates, Adam West, Bob Crosby, and 32 more. Question 6:Did Any Famous People Come From Washington D.C.?

  7. Question7: Are There Any Performing Arts? • Yes, many, like the National Symphony Orchestra, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Kennedy Center Board of Trustees, Washington Ballet, any 20 more.

  8. Conclusion • In conclusion I really enjoyed this research and in the process I learned a lot of interesting facts and land marks I hope you enjoyed my PowerPoint!!!!!

  9. Question 2:Are There Any Famous Landmarks There • Yes, there is the National Mall, Washington Monument, Jefferson Pier,Reflecting Pool, Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and many more!!
