  4. Special Features This is not like any other fish. The Oarfish has over 400 fins along it’s back and head. It’s skin feels like jelly.

  5. Where does the Oarfish live? North America- in the coast of Mexico Atlantic Ocean

  6. It sleeps during the day and hunts at night. The Oarfish eats krill.

  7. Behaviors • The Oarfish gives off an electric shock when touched. • This is used to protect it from predators like sharks.

  8. Interesting Facts The Oarfish can weigh up to 600 pounds! WOW! The Oarfish can get up to 500ft!
