Section 1 • Global leading provider of risk transfer solutions and insurance services • Quoted on London Stock Exchange in FTSE 250 • 35 countries 100 offices in excess of 6,500 employees 1,250 in Australasia • Specialist in selected industries and sectors including energy
Section 2 – Insurance Market Update • Christchurch earthquakes causes major change to NZ and global markets • Australasia contributes 1% of global premium but so far in 2011 have contributed 16% of the worlds insured losses • Natural disaster perils rate increasing anywhere between 100% to 300% • Cycle likely to remain longer than in past • Insurer security
