  3. Key Variables • Days Membership • Days Absent • Days Present • Ineligible days • Contact Hours • Weight Factor

  4. Days Membership • Calculated by adding the days absent + number of eligible present + number of ineligible days present for each grade level with the reporting period and track.

  5. Days Absent • Today Days absent for each grade level within the reporting period and track.

  6. Days Present • Days present is calculated as the number of eligible and ineligible days present

  7. Ineligible Days • Days present and ineligible for foundation program funding for each grade within the reporting period.

  8. Attendance Handbook General Rules • List of Classes -TEA written approval • Contact Hours • V1 = 45 – 89 min • V2 = 90 –149 min • V3 150 –180+ • Block Schedule = 90 block period

  9. Attendance Handbook General Rules  Continued • CTED Classes for 7 to 12 • Only 9-12 students are eligible for contact hours. • Documentation of entry and withdrawal into program • Student can enroll in as many CATE classes, but.. • No more than 6 hours per day • Work Plan

  13. Summary • Career and Technology Program is funded by class offering, available credit hours-contract hours, membership days, eligible days, attendance, weight factors and funds provided per FTE from the Foundation Program.
