  3. Logistics • daily schedule • 09:00 to 18:00 • About 1 hour for lunch • somewhere 12.45 - 13.45 • morning, afternoon breaks (20 minutes) • ~10:30 to 11:15 • ~15:30 to 16:30

  4. Logistics • 14 “cells” • 2 students per cell • 1 PC • 1 cisco router • 1 hub • 2 ethernet cables to central switches in back of room • PCs are installed with FreeBSD 4.0

  5. Logistics • passwords • PCs login as “t2” password “t2@afnog” • root also “t2@afnog” • don’t change passwords, please! • don’t install resolvers, don’t ‘close security holes’ • be very careful when moving about, so you don’t • trip on power cords • knock equipment off tables
