UCLA Sports Medicine Fellowship Program Highlights • Established, dynamic teaching faculty involved in various clinical and research interests and actively involved in national leadership organizations John DiFiori, MD Aurelia Nattiv, MD Heather Gillespie, MD, MPH Gary Green, MD Julie Casper, MD • Well established, ACGME accredited program with more than 70% of graduates pursuing academic careers as clinicians, teachers and researchers • 12-month core program with optional 24-month pathway for those desiring more advanced training in clinical research and faculty development • Sports medicine clinical research curriculum • Regular small group teaching sessions with faculty • Weekly Multidisciplinary Sports Medicine Conference provided and attended by the Departments of Family Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery, Musculoskeletal Radiology and Rehabilitation Specialists

Extensive clinical experience including: • UCLA Comprehensive Sports Medicine Clinic • UCLA Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center: Sports Medicine Clinic • Pediatric Sports Medicine and Fracture Care rotations • UCLA Osteoporosis Center and DXA Interpretation • Musculoskeletal radiology training • Musculoskeletal anatomy course • Acute ski injury clinic at winter mountain resort • Additional specialty rotations with experienced UCLA faculty • Team physician experience includes UCLA Department of Intercollegiate • Athletics and high school team physician responsibilities • Medical coverage of annual special events including: • NCAA and PAC 10 championship competitions • Surf City USA Marathon (Huntington Beach) • LA Marathon • Ironman California Triathlon (Oceanside) • Mt.
