  2. DOORS • Created by FAA in 2003 to: • provide an easier, more efficient method of submitting & recording DBE data • prepare and design unique DBE and ACDBE data reports • effectively respond to data requests from various sources

  3. DOORS – Recipient Reports • Cutoff date for entering data for the past year is August 31st • For example, a recipient can report FY-2011 accomplishments from September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2012 • DBE Part 26 reports due December 1 • ACDBE Part 23 reports due March 1

  4. FAA DOORS • Basic instructions included on all menus • Automatic totaling and calculating • Allows access to view previous records and edit current records for the year being reported

  5. FAA DOORS - Tips & Information • 60 minute session time – disconnects if not in use • * [asterisk] indicates required field • Grayed textboxes will add and calculate automatically

  6. FAA DOORS - Tips & Information • Round off numbers to whole numbers • Do not enter decimals except in the DBE goals section • For security reasons, passwords must be reset every 90 days - DOORS will prompt you to reset when you logon again

  7. FAA DOORS - New User Accounts • Create a new user account by accessing DOORS at https://www.faa.gov/secure/doors/ and clicking on “Create New User Account” • Your request for a new user account must be approved by your Regional FAA Program Manager • You will receive an email message when your account is approved.

  8. FAA DOORS • Some menus currently not working for recipients • Forgot password option does not work • If you don’t have your last password, call nancy.cibic@faa.gov to have a new password assigned • DBE contractors and ACDBEs firms menus do not work. Submit this information your regional FAA DBE Program Specialist • These options will function properly in the new DOT DOORS.

DOT DOORS • Differences between FAA DOORS and DOT DOORS for airport recipients • User accounts can only be created by FAA (or FHWA, FTA for their recipients) • DBE Awards menu includes a Save option, i.e., users can enter partial data, save it and return later to edit or complete the data • Forgot password option will send a link to your email to reset your password • Everything works!!

  26. DOT DOORS • New user accounts have been created for all airport recipients that currently have a user account in FAA DOORS • Airport recipients will receive a letter and guidance pertaining to the new DOORS followed by an email message containing a new user ID. • Airport recipients will be able to create their own password.
