  1. THE4SPHERESGEOSPHERE, ATMOSPHERE,HYDROSPHERE,ANDBIOSPHERE BY DANIELA SUAZO.

  2. THEGEOSPHERE • The term geosphere, is often used to refer to the densest parts of Earth, which consist mostly of Rock. Geo, means earth.

  3. SPHERE earth itself, rocks. Matle, core, crust. constantly changing. mountains built up and down due to crusion.

  4. Types of pollutions on the geosphere Domestic waste Increase in urbanization Industrial activities Agricultural activities Increase in agricultural land

  5. ATMOSPHERE THE GASEOUS ENVOLOPETHAT SURROUNDS THE EARTH. ATMO MEAN VAPOR

  6. ATMOSPHERE COMPOSED OF A MIXTURE OF GASES,THE ATMOSPHERE PROVIDES LIVING THINGS WITH OXYGEN AND CARBON DIOXIDE.

  7. What threatens the sphere? • Pollution in the air can be caused by substances that are both man-made and natural compounds. Find out how air pollution can be caused by volcanic eruptions with help from the chair of a department of environmental studies in this free video on air pollution.

  8. HYDROSPHERE • CONTAINS ALL THE WATER IN THE EARTH SYSTEM, INCLUDING THE WATER IN THE OCEANS, LAKES, AND RIVERS, AND GROUNDWATER.

  9. Hydrosphere • It contains 3% fresh water, most of the water 70% is frozen. In the form of glaciers. Only about ½% is usable fresh water.

  10. Types of pollutions in the hydrosphere • Many causes of pollution including sewage and fertilizers contain nutrients such as nitrates and phosphates. • The pollution of rivers and streams with chemical contaminants has become one of the most crutial environmental problems within the 20th century. Waterborne chemical pollution entering rivers and streams cause tramendous amounts of destruction.

  11. Biosphere • The living things on the planet.

  12. What’s the biosphere made of? • Includes all forms of life from single- celled protozoansto jelly fish to red wood trees to people • Basically plant, animals, and humans

  13. What threatens the biosphere. • Human technology and population growth can directly and indirectly disturb the biosphere.
