  4. Presenter expectations • Creates presentation • Usually slide show format • Has control of their own screen for webinar presentation • Interacts with audience for questions and answers • Thanks ALCTS and other sponsors

  5. What the presenter sees

  6. Host expectations • Coordinates webinar dates with presenter(s) • Enters information for promotion • Helps coordinate practice sessions • Presents an introduction and conclusion to webinar

  7. Technical Support • Sets up practice session • Runs the webinar session • Answers technical questions from attendees, presenters, and hosts

  8. Attendees • From all over the world • Registration through ALA • Occasional free session available • Requires a computer with internet connection and speakers or headset

  10. Questions • Interactive through text messages in “Questions Box” • Presenter will read and answer aloud

  12. Day of webinar • Log in early to test microphones and technology • Host will introduce session • Technical support answers software and hardware questions • Webinar is recorded for participants

Day of webinar • Presenter(s) session runs approximately 45 minutes with 15 minutes for questions • Questions asked throughout in “Questions Box” • Answer as they come or hold until end • Interactive polls are optional • Evaluation sent to participants • CE Committee reviews evaluation results
