Keys for Success • Confirm membership of current alumni • Compile an annual list of events and gatherings • Develop a balanced and reasonable structure of membership dues • Promote growth of club by implementing annual membership drive • Improve/Maintain operations of alumni club • Retreat to begin implementation of plan • Group or individual to oversee the plan

  3. Resources Available • Executive Office • Grand Council of Sigma Pi Fraternity • Local and national alumni volunteers • Local non-profit organizations

Membership Size • Verify current membership information • Who is still active – who is no longer interested • What is a productive number of members to have • What is the function of the club in the members eyes • What are the ways members can get/stay involved • Growth • Get list of all graduating seniors • Address undergraduates on importance of staying active after graduation • Mailing/Phone Calls/E-mails to chapter or local alumni not already in club • Use monthly/bi-weekly events to supplement annual membership events

Association Operations • Improve communication • Keep newsletters on a bi-monthly basis – include calendar • Notify members of events at least 2 months in advance • Develop an annual calendar to supplement newsletter • Implement committee approach • Alumni Event Kit • What do current members want to see? • What do the undergraduate chapter members need help with? • Maintain relations • Local chapter • University • Executive Office

Finances • What is offered for dues? • Social Events • Current • Future • Undergraduate Support • Housing? • Offsetting Dues increase? • Networking Functions • Schedule of payment • Payment plan • Phone-tree of collection • Mailers • Same time every month/year • Helps keep member information current • Cut-off dates for payment
