  4. Video Avalanche • Anyone can record images - Two Hundred Cameras at the Club - Six Images Per Second - 3 Week Archive 100 Million Images/Day 2.1 Billion Images on Database

  5. Efficiencies Forget the technology, concentrate on the business case Coffee Service at 40,000 feet Some staff take 4 trips to ask, deliver, request payment, bring change. Others do it in 2 trips They can offer better service and reduce their workload at the same time!

  6. The Business Case Can we use data capture with trend analysis to spot our star performing gaming machines or staff ? • Other Industries do, with: • Sales Averages • Store Visits • Visitor Counting vs. Number of Customers • Buying Ratios by Staff Member

Video Analytics Combine Video, Sales and People Counting Data for: • Trend Analysis • Customer Behaviour • Searches by Date, Staff Member, Register, Product, Gaming Data CCTV and Data Mining (POS, Gaming, Access Control, etc) can offer benefits to those who wish to understand their business better.

NSW Surveillance Act 2005 No. 47 • Replaces Workplace Video Surveillance Act 1998 • Now includes email and GPS tracking as well as CCTV. • Available free on-line at www.bookshop.nsw.gov.au then go to “Legislation” No major changes under CCTV but Club IT managers must ensure the Club’s email policies and procedures comply with this act.
