  19. Strategic Aim -1 Supporting the mobility of students and early-stage researchers • Analysis of mobility obstacles • Defining and monitoring mobility numbers • Broadening the scope of mobility programmes • Allocating budgets for mobility grants for early-stage researchers

  20. Strategic Aim - 2 Improving competitiveness by strengthening the international dimension • “Teaching in English” and raising the number of classes taught in English • Joint/Double Degree programmes and improving implementation procedures • Promoting international recruitment

Strategic Aim -3 Developing international strategic partnerships • As part of its internationalisation strategy, the University of Graz aims at defining and intensifying close strategic partnerships with leading international universities. • Strategic cooperation = “intentionally designed, planned and controlled cooperation in order to promote one’s own interests” (cf. Neuberger, 1998) • Objectives: • strengthening research through scientific cooperation • improving international offers for lecturers and students • improvement & intensification of the promotion of early-stage researchers • joint procurement of third-party funds

Work Packages WP1 : Development and Advancement of National Legislative for Internationalisation • Input to the comparative study on national legislative for internationalisation of HE and research among EU partner countries and Serbia. WP2 : Advancement of University integrative function through Internationalisation of Education, Research and Academic Mobility • Hosting the study visit to be organized in cooperation with WUS Austria • presenting at workshop in Novi Sad on best practices of academic and administrative support for international students and staff and organization of joint and double degrees, and writing guidelines for institutional practices and regulations regarding academic recognition of mobility periods

Work Packages WP3: NHANCEMENT OF INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITIES FOR PARTICIPATION IN LARGE-SCALE INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION • Participation at the workshop in Belgrade on best practices in building institutional capacities for participation within ERA and advancing the service of international projects’ development and management at university level. WP7 :   Management • Management of project activities, budget and financial reporting at institutional level. Attending Consortium meetings.
