  2. EXCHANGESCHEME • All EU countries and candidate countries + (Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Turkey). TalTech has more than 400 partner universities • One student can study and do an internship abroad in one study level altogether maximum 12 months: Erasmus+ studies 1 or 2 semesters/5 or 10 months Erasmus+ internship2÷6 months • Erasmus+ scholarship for every exchange student • The credits completed abroad can count at TalTech • There are student exchange opportunities outside of Europe as well

  3. REASONS TOPARTICIPATE • Opportunity to live and study abroad – gain independence • Opportunity to improve your English • Opportunitytoparticipate in theErasmus+language and culturecourses (smalllanguages of EU) • Valuable addition to your CV and Diploma supplement

  4. CONDITIONS FORAPPLYING • you have completed at least one semester of studies at TalTech (at the time of application, Bachelor level); • should prove your motivation during a short interview with the Schools selection committee • SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING does not have additional requirements: grade point average at least 3.0 is not required

CONDITIONS FOR APPLYING • be on a sufficient language level - min level B2* * The Language Certificate can be a proof from the Dean's Office, that your studies are in English. *If you received at least 75 points from the high school English examination, that certificate is also accepted for TalTech's application. *Results from internationally recognized language tests (TOEFL, IELTS etc); *Information about TalTechtestings can be found here.

PARTNERUNIVERSITIES • Exchange isonlypossiblebetweenuniversitiesthathavesignedanagreement https://www.ttu.ee/studying/exchange-studies/exchange-studies-outgoing/application-info/ • Agreements are between FACULTIES. • Agreementsstate a specific number ofstudents and studymonths. • NB! GENERAL AGREEMENTS • Depending on availablespots, youcanalsoapplytootherfaculties’ agreements

  7. IMPORTANT TO KNOW • You can attend courses or write your final thesis (Only if the receiving university can provide you with a supervisor) • Minimum 15 ECP per semester • All courses taken at the host university are confirmed with a LEARNING AGREEMENT before the study periodbegins • All subjects confirmed on the Learning Agreement and passed will be transferred toStudy Information System of TalTech(ÕIS) • IF YOU GO ON EXCHANGE, YOUR STUDY PERIOD IN ESTONIA CAN BE EXTENDED BY A SEMESTER(if need be)

ERASMUSSCHOLARSHIP Grants in the Academic Year 2018/2019 for studies: • 520 EUR per 30 days – Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, UK • 520 EUR per 30 days - Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain • 470 EUR per 30 days – Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Turkey

  10. Erasmus+ scholarship • Please note that: • Students participating in Erasmus studies, will receive an additional 250 EUR per semester on behalf of the Estonian Government. • Scholarship WILL NOT COVER all expenses! • Credit transfer into Study Information System (ÕIS)is free of charge

  11. ERASMUSSCHOLARSHIPfor internship • 700 euros per 30 days: Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Norway, Sweden, UK • 650 euros per 30 days: Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey • 600 euros per 30 days: Bulgaria, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia NB! 70% of the whole scholarship will be paid out in the beginning of the internship/studies and 30% in the end, after all the mandatory documents are filled in and presented.  More information of Erasmus+ scholarship can be found here!

  12. ERASMUS +INTERNSHIP • Students can do a traineeship/internship in a workplace abroad lasting from 2 to 6 months, if coordinated with the faculty. Application for internship is open all year long! NB! Please apply at least one month before the start of your internship! • Acceptance Letter from the organization

  13. HOW TO FINDPLACEMENT? • Mostly independently by contacting companies directly • During Erasmus studies • With faculty coordinator’s help • In the web page of Mobility Center https://www.ttu.ee/studying/exchange-studies/internship-31/outgoing-erasmus-internship/placement-offers-4/ • Host organisations for student placements may be enterprises, training centers, research centers and other organizations including higher education institutions in one of the 32 participating European countries.

  14.
