4. What isGift of Life – Arizona, Inc.? Founded in 1985 as a project of the Rotary Clubs of Arizona Districts 5490, 5500 and 5510
A nonprofit organization, 501 (c) 3, providing a means for needy children from around the world (including Arizona) to have life saving corrective surgery for congenital heart defects
Three-fourths of the directors shall be Arizona Rotarians from Rotary Districts 5490, 5500 and 5510

Pays a stipend of $5000 to the hospital for all procedures needed per child
Doctors and other professionals donate their time and skills
