  • VS BME: letter/word work and “chunking” examples

  • When to use upper and lowercase letters.

  • Making more effort towards asking “Does this make sense?”

  • R->C as building sentences

What i have learned from eric edu 360

What I Have Learned From Eric & EDU 360

  • What makes sense to me does not mean it makes sense to the student

  • Teaching a strategy one time will not work

  • Must teach in several ways

  • Reading & writing are complex & take time to grasp

  • Importance of choosing & introducing books

  • Don’t underestimate a student’s ability to try & ultimately succeed

A final piece of advice from eric
