  6. NPGS will conserve and distribute more and more samples of specialty crops (often horticultural) and of wild crop relatives. Extensive genomics and biotechnology projects will generate many new genetic stocks for major crops which will be conserved and distributed by the NPGS. Expanded inventory and rate of distribution
