  3. Early life In 1899 Eleanor went to school in England. She returned to New York in 1902 to be a teacher . In 1905 Eleanor married Franklin D. Roosevelt.

  4. Introduction Eleanor Roosevelt sparkled as first lady. But as a child ,she was shy. Eleanor was born October 11, 1884. Her parents ,Elliot and Anna ,died when she was young.
