  2. 2012-2013PARTICIPATION • WTHS-AVERAGE LUNCH PARTICIPATION: 52% • MIDDLE SCHOOLS AVERAGE LUNCH PARTICIPATION: 61% • ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AVERAGE LUNCH PARTICIPATION: 52% • Participation has stayed consistent even with the institution of the new regulations.

  3. 2012-2013OVERVIEW • Began the 2012-2013 School Year in compliance with the mandated regulations for more/specific fruits and vegetables, less protein and grains • Dec. 2012-USDA lifted the protein and grain restrictions • Centennial adjusted menus to incorporate higher protein/grain portions while maintaining financial stability • Centennial was approved for the additional 6 cents per lunch meal reimbursement from USDA by submitting menus through Primero Edge (USDA web based nutritional analysis program) • Centennial has continued to keep the cost of government food storage to a minimum and utilized all government commodities in the menu rotation. • Centennial Food Service has met with student representatives from both Middle Schools and the High School for their feedback/questions/suggestions about the Food Service Program.

  4. 2013-2013STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE MEETINGS • Log College and Klinger • Student Likes and Dislikes: • Likes: Chicken Nuggets, Spicy Chicken Patty, Fruit Salad, Yogurt, Spicy Wraps, Tater Tots, Potato Wedges, Hummus, Pierogies, Stuffed Crust Pizza • Dislikes: Chicken Patty, Vegetables, Meat with Nachos, Cookies, Shredded Cheese w/Nachos, • Introduced three new items for the students to taste • Homestyle Chicken Patty, Mickey’s Pizza and Sunflower butter and Jelly sand. • Students liked all three items and they will be incorporated into the menu next year.

  5. 2012-2013STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE MEETINGS • WTHS • Student Likesand Dislikes: • Likes: Pasta, BBQ Chicken, Oven Fried Chicken, Buffalo or Hot and Spicy, Cookies, Jello, Pudding, Chicken Noodle Soup • Dislikes: Not enough sauce on the Pizza, Corn on the Cob, Chinese food (50/50), Chicken Pattie (50/50) - Introduced Two New Items for Students to Taste: • Home-style Chicken Patty, Sunflower Butter and Jelly Sandwich • Students liked both items and they will be on the menu next school year.
