  2. The Mission Board has signed up for the Birdies for Charity program for the John Deere Classic. A form is in today’s bulletin. Additional forms are in the Library. The money will be used to help supplement our current Mission Board fund. Fill out the form and put in the offering plate or send to the church office. Thank you for your support!   3. Team Driscal Day fundraiser brunch to be held on Sunday August 18th! The day promises to be filled with fabulous food, entertainment, and a very special silent auction. If you would like to volunteer to be a part of this event, please contact Sara. SUNDAY AUGUST 18, 2013

  5. This summer, come have lunch with a fun group of people . During the rest of the year, we’re a Bible Study group, but now we’re just open for lunch. We want you to come eat with us.   6. The last Sunday of every month in June, July, and August is your chance to join the Chancel Choir and sing an anthem during the Worship Service. Come at 9:30 to learn an easy anthem on June 30, July 28, and Aug 25 and enjoy the joy of singing. Any questions call Paul Renaud 324-2170. Summer Choir

To thank the volunteers who have worked so hard to support the Christian Education Board throughout the last year, we would like to invite them to an appreciation breakfast on June 23rd at 8:30 AM.   8. will be held at Jim and Sunny Moorhusen's Mississippi River home. Plan to be there Sunday, July 28 at 4 p.m., rain or shine, as a tent and shelter will be available. The address is 18920 River Road North, Cordova, Illinois 61242.  309-654-2492 Directions: Take IL 84 North to the first road adjacent to the Cordova Nuclear Plant. Turn Left on this road which is 192nd Avenue North. At the end of 192nd Avenue North is the Moorhusen river place. The drive is about 20 miles from our church. Carpools will organize in the First Congregational parking lot about 3 p.m. on Sunday July 28. Phil Koenig is preparing the main dish which will be pulled pork sandwiches. A - I bring a vegetable casserole/dish to share J - R bring a salad S - Z bring a dessert You will bring your own table service. Also bring a white elephant item that can be used as prizes for a table game. Do not wrap. All Dinner Club Members are invited and expected.  Your attendance will make this FUN event a success as we finish the 2013 Dinner Club year. We will keep you posted as the date approaches.
