  1. Laylatul Qadr, or the Night of Qadr, is the best night among the nights of the whole year on account of its merits, surpassing excellence, superiority and the superabundant bounties. No Night, throughout the year, is on a level with this night.

Allah says in Holy Quran, that We revealed holy Quran in the Night of “Qadr”, this night is better than a thousand months, therefore, acts done in these nights are better than the acts done in one thousands months. In this night the “Spirit” together with one thousand Angels descends and that which has been decided is shown to the “Imam of Era (atf)”.

  3. THIS NIGHT OF LAYLATUL QADR • IS BETTER THAN 1000 MONTHS • MEANING BETTER THAN 83.33 YEARS • MEANING BETTER THAN 30,000 DAYS • MEANING BETTER THAN 720,000 HOURS • MEANING BETTER THAN 43,200,000 MINUTES

  4. CURRENTLY THE NIGHT IS FROM 6.30P.M. UPTO 5.00A.M. APPROXIMATELY IN DAR-ES-SALAAM. • SO THE NIGHT IS 10½ HOURS. • MEANING 630 MINUTES ONLY.

  5. 1 MINUTE WASTED IN THIS HOLY NIGHT IS EQUIVALENT TO 1143 HOURS LOST • AND 7 MINUTES IF WASTED EQUALS 8000 HOURS LOST • HOW UNLUCKY THAT A MU’MIN GETS HOLD OF THE NIGHT BUT SLIPS FROM HIS HAND • WORSE STILL IS AFTER SUFFERING THIS GREAT LOSS – ONE DOES NOT GRIEVE • ALAS THESE ARE THE ONES WHO ARE LOSERS

DEAR MU’MINEEN AND MU’MINAAT IT IS THE NIGHT OF LAYLATUL QADR THE NIGHT IN WHICH • QURAN WAS REVEALED. • DESTINY (TAQDEER) IS WRITTEN. • PRAYERS (IBAADAT) ARE GRANTED. • SUPPLICATING (DUA) ARE ACCEPTE. • REFLECTING ON PREVIOUS LIFE IS IBAADAH. • RESOLUTIONS TO MIGRATE FROM EVIL AND TO EMBRACE GOODNESS IS – HIJRAAH.

ONE’S DESTINY IS IN HIS OWN HANDS AS TO HOW HE WANTS ALLAH TO GRANT HIM HEALTH, WEALTH, LONG LIFE ETC. • YOU ARE DUTY BOUND TO OBEY TO BE LIABLE FOR THE ABOVE GRANTS • YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND THAT HE IS THE CREATOR AND YOU ARE THE CREATION • TO CHANGE DESTINY IS TO HAVE TWO WAY TRAFFIC i.e. GIVE AND TAKE POLICY

PRAYERS ARE EFFECTING MEANS FOR GAINING THE PROXIMITY BUT MUST MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE NOT • SEASONAL (e.g. Ramadhan) • OCCASIONAL (e.g. In time of problem) • RITUAL (e.g. My parents tell me I do it) • HABITUAL (e.g. everyday we come so I come) • ALL THE ABOVE WILL REAP VERY LITTLE FRUITS • THE IBAADAT (PRAYERS) ARE FOR HIM (ALLAH) ONLY BECAUSE HE IS WORTHY OF WORSHIP • PRAY FOR CHILDREN WHO CAN BE SOLDIERS OF ISLAM • PRAY FOR THE RE-APPEARANCE OF THE 12TH IMAM HADHRAT HUJJAT (ATF)

  9. SUPPLICATING TO ALLAH IS AN HONOUR. • YOUR GOLDEN CHANCE TO TALK TO ALLAH DIRECTLY. • THE RAISED HANDS OF A BELIEVER HAVE LOFTY STATUS IN THE EYES OF ALLAH. • THE DU’As WITH LITTLE EFFORT OF UNDERSTANDING WILL REWARD MANY FOLDS. • DU’A IS A WEAPON OF A BELIEVER.

OUR EFFORTS HAVE TO BE TO MAKE RESOLUTIONS WITH • OUR SELF • WITH ALLAH • WITH HIS PROPHET AND THE HOLY PROGENY • THAT I HEREBY RESOLVE TONIGHT TO KEEP AWAY FROM • ALL SINS, BAD TONGUE, UNLAWFUL SEX, BAD HABITS AND UNLAWFUL FOOD/ DRINKS. • ABIDING BY THESE RESOLUTIONS WILL WITHOUT DOUBT RAISE ONE STATUS IN ALLAH’S EYES AND IF HE DIES DURING THE COURSE OF CHANGING HE IS A MARTYR

  11. MAY ALLAH ACCEPT ALL OUR DEEDS AND GRANT OUR PRAYERS • MAKE US GOOD MUSLIMS • MAKE OUR FAITH STRONG • MAKE US UNDERSTAND RIGHTS OF OUR CHILDREN • MAKE OUR CHILDREN RELIGIOUS • MAKE OUR AIM IN LIFE TO BE PIOUS
