  2. Bala Mukuntashtakam (2) The one who sleeps on banyan tree leaf after maha pralaya; who has no beginning or ending, I think of this Balamukundan who came for the good of all. Samhrtya lokān vaţa patra madhye Śayāna mādyanta vihīna rūpam Sarveš varam sarva hitā vatāram Bālam mukundam manasā smarāmi

  3. Bala Mukuntashtakam (3) The one with beautiful body like blue lotus, whose lotus feet is worshipped by Indra and devas, I think of this Balamukundan who is like kalpa vruksha. Indīvara šyama la-koma lāngam Indrādi devār cita pāda padmam Santāna kalpa-tru mamā šritānām Bālam mukundam manasā smarāmi

  4. Bala Mukuntashtakam (4) The one with hairs falling on face, wearing long chain, teeth shining as nectar of smile, lips like bimba fruit, I think of this Balamukundan with long beautiful eyes.   5. Bala Mukuntashtakam (5) When Yashoda has gone out after keeping milk and yogurt in the pot, the one who sleeps falsely after eating all these, I think of this Balamukundan. Śikyeni dhāyādya payo dadhīni Bahir gatāyām vraja-nāyi kāyām Bhuktvā yatheşţam kapaţena suptam Bālam mukundam manasā smarāmi

Bala Mukuntashtakam (6) From the rock of Yamuna, desiring to dance on the hoods of kaliya snake with its tail in his hand, whose face is like the moon during sara-thrithu, I think of this Balamukundan. Kalinda jānta sthita kāli yasya Phanņāgra range naţana priyantam Tatpuccha hastam šaradindu vaktram Bālam mukundam manasā smarāmi

  7. Bala Mukuntashtakam (7) The Lord tied to a round stone, and playfully pushed two Arjuna trees to the ground, having eyes like a bloomed red lotus, I think of this Balamukundan. Ulū-khale baddha mudāra šauryam Ut-tunga yugmār-juna bhanga līlam Ut-pulla padmā yata cāru netram Bālam mukundam manasā smarāmi

  8. Bala Mukuntashtakam (8) The one who affectionately looks at mother's face when drinking her milk, with eyes like red lotus,who is sat cit ananda,I think of this Balamukundan. Ālokya mātur mukhamā dareņa Stanyam pibantam sarasīru hākşam Saccin mayam devam ananta rūpam Bālam mukundam manasā smarāmi (4)
