  1. Things that no one tells you about Seattle Aquarium The Seattle Aquarium is an exciting and a fun way to experience the under-water world by seeing and literally touching them! This aquarium located in Pier 59 along the Seattle Waterfront was built on May 20, 1977 at the edge of Elliott Bay of Puget Sound and it is open on all weekdays. The aquarium also features themed visits and learning programs for school-goers and pre-schoolers. It also trains Beach Naturalist volunteers each summer.
