  2. People Of The 1980s • Oprah-opened a reality show on T.V. • Sandra Day O’ Connor- was the first woman in Supreme Court. • Michael Jackson -singer who was referred to as the King of Pop.

  3. Events Of The 1980s • Smurfs-tiny blue people became very popular (cartoon.) • AIDS-it was discovered in the year 1983. • Mountain Biking-it became very popular and there was a special bike just for mountain biking.

  4. Inovation/Discovery • Cable-it was invented in the late 1980s. • Sony Camcorder-it was also invented in 1983. • Bread Maker- it was invented in 1986.

  5. Entertainment/Fashion Item • VanillaIce-a singer who invented a song called Ice Ice Baby that was a popular song. • Types of Songs and Dance-pop,rock,new wave, punk, country, cap, hip-hop. They were all popular in the year 1980s. • Collectibles- video games and gameboy were also popular.

  6. Special Facts • Hair- big and bulky was the best hair style in the 80s. • McDonalds- it was the most popular restaurant in the 80s.
