  2. What is Benefits Plus? Benefits Plus is designed to enhance your Employee Benefits package by receiving home, auto, renters and liability insurance at discounted group rates. After your employer provides the insurer with basic demographic information about the company, insurer is able to pre-underwrite the group and grant you access to rates not available to the general public. Purchasing insurance through a group program facilitates buying power for the group which results in discounted insurance premiums for individuals. Each employee will have access to discounted premiums but the actual policy will be individually underwritten.
