  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Letters of recommendation

  • Two letters

  • One from an academic teacher at school. Preferably an English or Socials teacher

  • One from an artistic person i.e. conductor, director, teacher, music coach, etc

  • Submit two scores in contrasting style composed within the last two years, five minutes each, accompanied with audio recordings.

  • Written statements and list of composition/dates performed

Why I like it

  • I love music and composition

  • All the classes seem very fun and interesting

  • I am considering music as a potential careeras either a music professor, a conductor, or a film composer

  • I want to pass on knowledge to others as a professor, give music to an audience from an orchestra, or bring music to an audience through media
