Essential Nutrition Package for Emergency ResponseFor: Aid Workers and Health Workers To best assist affected populations with good food and nutrition, a full nutrition package has to be put in place. The package includes essential nutrition actions that are needed to reduce the risk of starvation, illness and death among the affected populations. It is important that the interventions are first and foremost focus on the most vulnerable groups; children under five and pregnant and lactating women. *Aid worker is a very broad definition including anyone working with families affected by crises and who is not a trained health worker (this also include aid organizations, volunteers etc)
