This bill establishes a commission to study revising the NH special education statutes and recommends changes to the special education rules necessitated by such revisions.
Current NH regulations require the determination of a child’s eligibility to be made within 45 days. Adopting the new federal regulations would do this.
States must have a performance plan that evaluates efforts to implement law and describe how implementation will be improved within this period of time.
